CCIS welcomes any Christian organisation, group or individual to join us in the celebration of the love of God this Christmas. The celebration of songs, dances, musical renditions, etc centres around sharing the real meaning of Christmas. However, due to limitations and restrictions, CCIS reserves the right not to accept all applications from individuals or groups.
No. Of course, we love to have you for the entire event. We will work with you on your available schedule. Most programmes each night are also different throughout the entire week.
CCIS is a celebration event coinciding with the festive efforts to usher in the holiday season with the “Christmas in the Tropic” Light Up of Orchard Road. It is not church and it is not a religious festival. Performances and interactivities share the joy of Christmas through the multimedia forms of entertainment while telling the Story of the First Christmas two thousand years ago.
We appreciate Christians coming forward to do their bit for the community and blessing it but we do not restrict it entirely to Christians so long as you share the same desire to serve alongside other Christians. But the celebrations are meant for everyone in the public, regardless of race, religion or language.
No, CCIS is a registered charity, independent of any Church or organisation. CCIS is inter-denominational and welcomes any Church, para-church organisation, Christian group or individuals to join us to share the joy of Christmas to all.
Yes, CCIS is a registered charity under the Charities Act. Our UEN No. is 200412861G.
CCIS is solely dependent on Christian who believes that Christmas is the time to share God’s love in very practical ways. We are not funded in any way and particularly not from the “Christmas In the Tropics” light up of Orchard Road by the Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB). But CCIS is recognised by these organisations as partners in the Christmas Celebrations on Orchard Road. CCIS needs a lot of funds to organise an event of this scale each year. We need your help!
