A group of active volunteers in CCIS has started a ground up initiative - Community Matters to promote community service among students. We work with different charities & non-profit groups to bring community projects to students & youths.
Community Matters will be raising funds for Gladiolus Place (GP), the adopted Charity for this year at Orchard Road from 16-22 December.
Here’s a note from our partner - Gladiolus Place (GP)and how you can support them this season!

About Gladiolus Place
We are a non-profit Children’s Home for vulnerable teenage Girls aged 11 - 21 years old who have experienced abuse, neglect and trauma. With our vision to have Every Girl Loved and Every Life Transformed, our mission is to bring about Healing, Renewal, and Restoration to families and communities. A charity with IPC (Institution of a Public Character) status, Gladiolus Place is licensed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in the administration and upholding of high standards in our care of our Girls.
Like the Gladiolus flower, symbolising strength, honour, and dignity, we envision each Girl under our care blooming into empowered women of character, embracing life to the fullest as transformed individuals.
As such, we focus on personalised therapeutic interventions for our Girls, and tailored programmes for academics, sports and the arts, life skills and socio-emotional resilience, character and values.
We invite you to find out more about our work and programmes at www.gladiolusplace.org.sg. You can also find us on Instagram via @gladiolusplace or on Facebook via gladiolusplaceofficial.
